Itamapako High School, Iloti-Itamapako, Ijebu Ode was founded in 1976 in the District. The computer systems are outdated and inadequate, 6 or more kids crowd over a computer during classes: the classroom furniture and fittings are also grossly inadequate.
The centre needs about 20 more computer systems, Printers, Scanners, Networking facilities, internet modems, and reliable source of energy. There is also a need to overhaul the furniture of the classrooms and to provide adequate security for the newly acquired systems.
The toilet facilities in the centre shall also be upgraded with provision of borehole to ensure proper sanitation for staff and students of the centre. The project therefore seeks to cover 2 areas of focus, Literacy & Numeracy; & Water & Sanitation.
This is based on Needs Assessment from the stakeholders, the officials of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB)
